Elero's head office is in Schlierbach, near Stuttgart, and it is one of the world's biggest manufacturers of electric drive and control systems for roller shutters, sun-screening systems and roller doors.

With its Centero Home system, Elero provides a home automation solution that offers all the essential functions to turn your home into smart home. The system covers all roller shutter and sun-screening system functions. In addition, it can also integrate home technology and security components as well as lifestyle products from other manufacturers.

Users can control connected devices remotely using their smartphone or tablet with iOS or Android apps, while at home or away. Centero Home can be used with the Cloud or locally, with a WLAN.

As well as motorised sun screening, the system can also connect with lighting, motion sensors, smoke detectors, window contacts, radiator thermostats or temperature sensors. A weather service with forecasts is already integrated into the system.

If you upgrade to Centero Home Plus via the app, you can access further functions without having to change any hardware.
